The Ukrainian Parliament calls on world leaders and the International Paralympic Committee to prohibit Russian and Belarusian athletes from participating in international competitions. By a corresponding appeal, supported by law, the deputies urge to review the decisions that allow athletes from Russia and Belarus to participate in sporting events, and to establish a complete ban for them.
The draft law also calls for the protection of humanism, justice, human rights, and the rejection of war as a tool of international relations. The deputies also demand to restrict the entry of athletes and delegations from aggressor states into democratic countries until Russian aggression ceases and Ukraine's territorial integrity is restored.
It should be noted that the Parliament plans to meet to consider other issues, including the renaming of the exchange coin, at its meeting on Saturday, December 27.
