‘MVS Unbreakable’ Initiative Expands Nationwide

As of May 1, 2026, a joint communications campaign by Ukraine’s Ministry of Internal Affairs and OBOZ.UA has grown to cover 21 cities across 19 regions. The program, called ‘MVS Unbreakable,’ offers Interior Ministry veterans complimentary access to swimming pools for rehabilitation and recovery.

How Veterans Can Join the Program

To enroll, veterans must first obtain a medical certificate confirming they are fit to swim. Schedules are posted on a dedicated Ministry webpage and the project’s Instagram account. Interested participants can apply through several channels:

  • Via the ‘Social Protection of the MVS’ app, available on App Store and Google Play under the ‘Rehabilitation Through Sport’ section;
  • Through the social support service at MVS healthcare facilities;
  • By contacting project coordinator Yurii Sierov directly at 098 525 9660.

Regional coordinator contacts are also listed in the veteran’s personal account on the ‘MVS: Your Support’ portal. For further details, call the MVS hotline at 1536.

The ‘MVS Unbreakable’ initiative is designed to support Interior Ministry veterans, marking a crucial step in their social rehabilitation and reintegration into active life. Free access to sports facilities not only aids physical recovery but also fosters social inclusion, which is vital for veterans’ psychological well-being. The program’s expansion to 21 cities underscores its growing popularity and relevance among its target audience.
