Gas explosion in Khmelnytskyi: search for a person under the rubble, five injured

On Tuesday, October 28, a powerful explosion was recorded in a residential building in Khmelnytskyi. According to the State Emergency Service, five people were injured, including a child. As a result of the explosion, nine apartments were partially damaged, and another 15 were affected. There are fears that a person may be under the rubble.

Currently, all emergency services are working in Khmelnytskyi. The city mayor reported that the explosion occurred due to a gas leak. Specialists are already assessing the risks for the building and the need for evacuating residents. The injured have been examined by medical personnel, and hospitalization is not required.
