Man Killed in Zhmerynka Boiler Explosion
A 38-year-old man named Oleh Kholod was killed in Zhmerynka when a solid fuel boiler exploded. The incident occurred on the night of January 17 after the man opened the boiler's door, causing a sudden release of steam and pressure. The explosion happened on Peremohy Street in Zhmerynka. This tragic event follows other recent fatal incidents involving heating equipment in Ukraine:
- On January 16, a fire in a Vinnytsia region house claimed one life.
- In Zaporizhzhia, a 57-year-old homeowner died in a separate solid fuel boiler explosion.
