Boiler explosion in Barishivka
A boiler explosion occurred in the village of Barishivka, Brovary district, during repair work, resulting in serious injuries to a 69-year-old locksmith. The incident happened due to excessive pressure in the system, leading to the explosion.
The locksmith sustained severe injuries, including thermal burns to the face, hands, and left lower leg, as well as rib and facial fractures. After receiving first aid, medics hospitalized the man for further treatment.
Investigation of the incident
An investigation has been launched regarding the explosion under part 2 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement agencies are working to clarify the circumstances of the event that occurred during the repair work.
