Explosion in Dnipro and its consequences
On January 7, an explosion occurred in Dnipro, resulting in the city being left without electricity supply. The thermal power plants (TPPs) were halted due to an emergency situation, leading to the disconnection of not only electricity but also water and heating. As a result of these events, the residents of Dnipro faced serious problems in securing basic utilities.
It is known that the lack of electricity has also been recorded in neighboring cities, such as Pavlohrad and Synelnykove. Additionally, electricity and water supply were lost in Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih. The damage from the explosion in Dnipro is significant: according to reports, more than 2,000 windows were damaged, as well as two trolleybuses and a heat line near a school.
