On the night of January 14, an explosion of a gas mixture occurred in a high-rise building on Stepan Rudnytsky Street in Kyiv. Information about the incident was received by rescuers at 01:16. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene, quickly extinguishing the fire by 01:46. The area affected by the fire was 10 square meters. As a result of the explosion, one man was injured.
Additionally, on the eve of this event, a gas cylinder explosion occurred in the Obukhiv district, injuring a 71-year-old man. This incident also raised concerns among the local population. It is worth noting that at the same time, in the village of Baryshivka in the Brovary district, a boiler exploded during repair work, resulting in severe injuries to a 69-year-old mechanic.
