An explosion and subsequent fire tore through an 11th-floor apartment in a 17-story residential building on Stantsiyna Street in Mytishchi, Russia, in the early hours of April 11. The blast resulted in one fatality, with three injured individuals hospitalized. Emergency crews evacuated 20 residents from the building. The fire, which covered approximately 70 square meters, was tackled by more than 80 personnel and around 30 specialized emergency vehicles. In a separate incident on the same night, an explosion occurred in a multi-story residential building on Kadyrova Street in the Yuzhnoye Butovo district of Moscow. The blast originated on the 15th floor, injuring a father and his daughter.
Third Blast Strikes Kazakhstan
A third explosion hit a cafe in the city of Shchuchinsk, Kazakhstan. This incident proved far more deadly, claiming the lives of seven people, including a minor. The total number of casualties reached 28, with 13 people hospitalized and eight others treated and released.
