Estonia actively assists Ukraine in restoring and reforming the social sector. The cooperation between the countries covers specific projects and the exchange of experience. The Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine, Denis Ulyutin, met with the Minister of Social Affairs of Estonia, Carmen Joller, during which they discussed Estonia's active support in restoring the Zhytomyr region.
Particular attention is paid to the construction of houses for foster families, which is financed with the involvement of Estonian partners. The agreement on social security between the countries regulates issues of pension and social insurance. The parties agreed to create a joint working group to update this agreement and deepen the partnership.
The cooperation between Estonia and Ukraine in the field of social policy continues to strengthen mutual trust and promote the development of both countries. The exchange of experience and specific support for important areas, such as social security, is an important step towards improving the quality of life for citizens.
