The 'Iron Range' service has received nearly 750 applications from defense manufacturers in its year of operation. Over 550 tests have already been conducted, according to the Ministry of Defense. The testing takes place at modern ranges equipped for various types of testing, including the creation of jamming conditions and other scenarios close to combat.

Manufacturers receive not only professional expertise and consultations but also valuable feedback from the military regarding their weapon samples. According to the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Hanna Hvozdiyar, this helps accelerate the readiness of developments and simplifies the process of codifying new products.

'This is a fast and effective conduit between idea and front line. The faster we test and launch new solutions into production, the sooner they get to the Defense Forces,' Hvozdiyar emphasized.

The access service to the ranges for defense industry manufacturers is free of charge. One manufacturer can use the service several times during the creation of a product. The project is being implemented in collaboration with the Central Office of Innovative Activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Technology Solutions Scaling Center, Brave1, and the State Scientific Research Institute for Testing and Certification of Military Equipment.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, as part of the 'Iron Range' project, successfully supports cooperation with manufacturers of defense samples, providing convenient conditions for testing and improving products. This initiative helps improve the quality and speed of implementing new solutions in the defense sector.
