Russia launched more than 1500 strikes in a week: how energy is being restored

В Україні тривають зусилля щодо відновлення енергетичної інфраструктури після інтенсивних обстрілів.

Shortage of energy and military strikes

Since yesterday, all our services have been working on restoring the supply of electricity, heating, and water in the regions affected by Russian strikes on energy facilities. The situation remains complicated, with hundreds of thousands of families without electricity in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Chernihiv, Donetsk, Sumy, and Dnipro regions. I am grateful to every person who participated in the repair work.

Last night, our communities were once again under fire. There are injuries. Russia continues the war and tries to cause as much harm to our citizens as possible. This week, Russian troops launched over 1500 attack drones, nearly 900 guided aerial bombs, and 46 missiles of various types at Ukraine. Just in one week.

The need for peace and diplomacy

Ukraine needs peace on dignified terms, and we are ready to work as constructively as possible. The coming days will be filled with diplomacy. It is very important that this diplomacy brings results. I count on the support of our partners and express gratitude to all who help during this difficult time.

Ukraine continues to fight against the consequences of Russian military actions aimed at the country's energy facilities. Despite the difficult situation, the government is doing everything possible to restore energy supply and provide the population with vital resources. The government is also actively engaged in diplomatic processes to resolve the conflict and establish peace at the border.
