The Ministry of Community Development of Ukraine held an online meeting with representatives of the World Bank, where they discussed the preparation of the draft law 'On the main principles of housing policy' and other steps in reforming the housing sector within Ukraine Facility. The approved law will be sent to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration along with proposed changes to other laws.
Work is also underway on a new State Housing Strategy, a draft law on social housing, and on the management of the housing stock. The Ministry of Development and the World Bank agreed to continue cooperation for the successful implementation of these reforms in the housing sector.
