Європейський Союз виділить значні кошти на відновлення України: на які ініціативи підуть ці фінанси.

A meeting took place at the Ministry of Development with representatives of the General Directorate of the European Commission, where the status of project implementation in the transport sector and the alignment of investment priorities in transport infrastructure were discussed.

Representatives from the Ministry of Development, DG ENEST, the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and Ukrzaliznytsia attended the meeting. The parties discussed the effective use of funding and the acceleration of critical project implementation.

"It is necessary to minimize the time from signing to actual construction by prioritizing projects in Ukraine and preparing documents in advance for the rapid completion of procedures"
- emphasized Deputy Minister Marina Denysiuk.

Support from the European Investment Bank

By the end of 2027, the European Investment Bank will provide an additional mandate for financing priority reconstruction projects in Ukraine. These funds will be directed to the most important and ready-to-implement projects in the areas of railway connectivity and border crossing points, using mixed financing.

Participants discussed the need to optimize the procedures for attracting resources from the European Investment Bank for faster reconstruction and to commence work earlier.

In summary: Ukraine continues to collaborate with the European Commission and the European Investment Bank to implement important projects in the transport and infrastructure sector. The measures are aimed at accelerating the reconstruction process and improving the transport system in the country.
