Today, November 28, the draw for the quarter-finals of the Ukrainian Cup for the 2025/2026 season took place. The ceremony was attended by the chief sergeant of the 92nd OShBr Andriy Pohorelov and the famous tennis player, volunteer, and officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Stakhovskyi.
The teams that won in the round of 16 are already preparing for the quarter-finals of the Ukrainian Cup. The first listed are the host teams, and the pairs of matches will look like this:
- Metalist 1925 (Kharkiv) – Lokomotiv (Kyiv)
- Chernivtsi – Phoenix-Mariupol (Mariupol)
- LNZ (Cherkasy) – Bukovina (Chernivtsi)
- Dynamo (Kyiv) – Inhulets (Petrove)
The matches of the quarter-finals are scheduled for March 3-5, 2026. It is also reminded that for qualification for the World Cup, Ukraine still needs to overcome two opponents.
The Ukrainian national football team successfully passed the first stage of the European qualification for the World Cup 2026. In the match against Azerbaijan, the team played a draw, and fans of the national team supported the players in the match against France under the slogan 'Fortress of Europe.'
