Register Now for the 'Leadership in Times of Change' Workshop
Registration is now open for a free leadership training event titled 'Leadership in Times of Change,' taking place in Ivano-Frankivsk from November 25 to 28 at the Youth Center 'Rukh.' This program targets young people between the ages of 16 and 25 and is organized by the NGO 'Today for the Future' in partnership with the Youth Center 'Rukh' as part of the British Council's Youth Connect for Ukraine initiative.
Applications are accepted until November 18, with no participation fee. Organizers will provide meals and all necessary materials. Over the course of four days, attendees will engage in interactive learning sessions, hands-on activities, and collaborative teamwork exercises.
What Participants Will Gain
This workshop offers a chance for young people to identify and build on their strengths while enhancing key leadership skills such as:
- clear and effective communication;
- team collaboration;
- critical thinking;
- and problem-solving through consensus.
Participants will also analyze local challenges facing Ivano-Frankivsk, brainstorming and developing social initiatives that address these issues. They will have the opportunity to design projects and present their ideas to the group.
After completing the workshop, attendees can submit their projects for a chance to receive financial backing and mentorship support. Additionally, on November 29, an Open Day event will offer further engagement opportunities for youth. As space is limited, early registration is encouraged.
This workshop represents a vital effort to nurture youth leadership in the region, especially amid today’s complex challenges.
The organizers aim to empower young people not only with leadership skills but also with the means to launch their own projects, contributing positively to their communities. The strong interest in this event highlights a growing demand for supporting youth initiatives and fostering social activism across Ukraine.
As young people in Ivano-Frankivsk prepare to enhance their leadership skills, similar initiatives are taking place across the region. For instance, free psychosocial support workshops are being offered in the Kyiv area, providing essential resources for youth facing challenges. These programs highlight the growing focus on empowering young individuals in various aspects of personal and professional development.
