Starting from September 1, communities will be able to receive funding for the restoration of their territories thanks to the State Fund for Regional Development (SFRD), which has resumed its operations after a long break. This year, 1 billion Hryvnias has been allocated for these purposes from the state budget.

'We are very glad that the SFRD is operational again. Currently, our main focus is on frontline communities, but other regions will also receive assistance. We aim to make the project selection process as transparent and effective as possible so that every penny is spent to benefit our communities,' emphasized Oleksiy Ryabikin.

The SFRD is a special fund from which resources are allocated for regional development aimed at rebuilding infrastructure and improving the living conditions of local residents.

Conditions for Receiving Funding

To receive funding from the SFRD, communities must consider four key conditions: project compliance with the overall regional development strategy, ownership of the object by the state or the community, conformity of the project documentation with the requirements, and at least 10% co-financing from the local budget of the total amount of funds.

The State Fund for Regional Development is ready to support communities financially in implementing their projects and to contribute to the overall improvement of the quality of life at the regional level.
