Famous Ukrainian chef and participant in culinary projects Alik Mkrtchyan candidly talked about his income, expenses, and financial obligations. According to him, monthly earnings exceed 5 thousand dollars, but almost all the money goes to support his family, loans, and everyday expenses. He shared this in an interview with Slava D'yomin.
Alik Mkrtchyan announced his monthly earnings
During the conversation, the chef explained that his main income comes from Instagram advertising and his own business. At the same time, the master classes he conducts do not bring significant profit.
According to Mkrtchyan, such events are primarily necessary for maintaining recognition and a professional image.
When the host inquired about the level of income, the chef confirmed that his earnings exceed 5 thousand dollars per month and range from 5 to 10 thousand dollars.
He also noted that today people can taste his products not in restaurants, but by purchasing goods from his company in supermarkets.
Over 100 thousand hryvnias goes to family and loans
Talking about personal finances, Alik Mkrtchyan confessed that he actually spends all the money he earns and saves almost nothing.
According to him, the family’s monthly expenses exceed 100 thousand hryvnias. This amount includes:

loan repayments.
The chef also mentioned that his son wears more expensive clothes than he does because children grow quickly and require constant wardrobe updates.
Monthly payments for leasing and apartment reach 60 thousand hryvnias
Separately, Mkrtchyan revealed the size of his loan obligations. He stated that he has a car on lease, registered as an individual entrepreneur, and is also repaying money for his apartment.
In total, about 60 thousand hryvnias are spent monthly on these payments.
In addition, the chef spoke about his passion for jewelry. According to him, one of the brooches he wears costs about 100 dollars, while the most expensive item in his collection is valued at approximately 30 thousand dollars.
Despite the significant expenses, Alik Mkrtchyan stated that he is not afraid of poverty. In his opinion, people who possess practical skills and can work with their hands will always be able to find a way to make a living.
