NATO's arms procurement systems leave much to be desired, says Johannes Pinl, head of the British defense company MARSS. According to him, they have fallen behind modern security requirements and are unable to keep pace with the development of threats. This point of view was expressed in an interview for CNN.

At the same time, the new Chief of the General Staff of the British Armed Forces, Richard Dyton, emphasized the importance of a new approach to military equipment procurement. He called for changes in collaboration with the industry to quickly implement the necessary innovations that are critical in the context of military conflict.
