Anastasia Blyshchyk, a volunteer, journalist, and press officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, has just shared joyful news with her readers on Facebook - she gave birth to her son Myron after three years of service at the front, including seven months of pregnancy.
In her post, Blyshchyk noted that during her pregnancy she continued to carry out her combat tasks, and her child's heart 'beat together with hers', making the baby a 'warrior even before birth'.
Despite the harsh conditions at the front, Blyshchyk mentioned that she experienced a rebirth and now rejoices with her son and family on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She emphasized that this holiday is for her son, who was born with great life experience. She also expressed gratitude for those who protect our sky and for whom it is worth living.
'Happy Armed Forces Day of Ukraine. For those who hold the sky. And for those for whom it is worth living'.
It is important to note that Anastasia's husband, journalist and military correspondent Oleksandr Makhov, was killed in 2022 by enemy shelling. Working at 'Ukraina' and 'Ukraina 24', he actively covered events at the front, and after the beginning of aggression, he decided to join the military at the front, where he became a victim of war.
Every day soldiers and volunteers risk their lives at the front, defending our country from external threats. They deserve our respect and gratitude.
