Car Accident in Holosiivskyi District
On December 27, 2025, a car accident occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, resulting in the death of a woman and injuries to two minor daughters who were hospitalized. The incident took place at the intersection of Academician Zabolotny Street and Ivan Sirka Street. According to preliminary data, the woman who died was in the passenger seat of the vehicle.
The two children, who were also in the car, sustained injuries; however, according to medical sources, there is no threat to their lives.
Investigation and Public Reaction
It is known that a criminal proceeding has been opened under part 1 of Article 415 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine after the accident. The sanction of this article provides for punishment of up to five years of imprisonment.
As of now, the pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and the details of the incident are being clarified. It is worth noting that this is not the first tragedy on Ukrainian roads:
