The Ministry of Defense reported that individuals with preserved military duty who have a deferment from conscription or reservation are not sent for a medical examination to the military medical commission.
According to the procedure for conscription during mobilization, such individuals may be removed from the lists for medical examination. A necessary condition is compliance with the deferment from conscription or reservation.
'This is determined by the Procedure for the conscription of citizens for military service during mobilization, for a special period, which is regulated by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated May 16, 2024, No. 560,' the department noted.
However, there are exceptions. Individuals with deferment from conscription or reservation may be sent for medical examination in the following cases:
- acceptance into military service under contract;
- recognition as limited fit and absence of repeated medical examination;
- the individual's desire to undergo a medical examination.
The military authorities in Ukraine clarified the rules regarding the medical examination of individuals with preserved military duty who have a deferment from conscription or reservation. It was noted that there are certain exceptions when such individuals may still be sent for a medical examination.
