One of the owners of Böcker, a company that sells furniture lifts, Yulia Sharvats, along with her husband Alexander Becker, was very surprised to see their product in the photographs from the crime scene. The Agilo model, belonging to their business, was used by the robbers to access the Apollo Gallery, where the stolen jewels were located.

The robbery of the Louvre Museum has not only been a loud crime but also an unexpected promotional move for the German company producing furniture lifts. This underscores the importance of control and security in museums, as well as demonstrating how diverse tactics and strategies can be employed in marketing.
