Meeting with the Director of the French School of Public Health
Ukraine’s Minister of Health, Viktor Liashko, recently engaged in discussions with Isabelle Richard, Director of the French School of Public Health (EHESP), to explore the establishment of an advanced training and professional development program for healthcare facility leaders in Ukraine. This initiative is being developed at the request of Ukraine’s Ministry of Health with support from Expertise France.
Key Elements of the Project
The primary goal is to create a Health Management School offering a modular training program for 20 healthcare managers from various regions across Ukraine. The curriculum will combine remote learning, in-person modules, and study visits to France. The project will also involve experienced hospital directors and healthcare professionals to ensure practical expertise is integrated throughout.

Expertise France will facilitate further consultations with the initial cohort, helping to build a sustainable national system for healthcare leadership training in Ukraine.
