Vinnytsia region suspends in-person learning: schools switch to distance learning or extend the holidays

У навчальних закладах Вінниччини запроваджено дистанційний формат навчання: учні залишаються вдома або продовжують канікули.

Suspension of in-person learning in Vinnytsia region

In Vinnytsia region, due to deteriorating weather conditions, in-person educational activities have been suspended. According to recommendations, general secondary education institutions, vocational pre-higher education institutions, higher education institutions, as well as preschool education institutions should switch to distance learning or extend the holidays until January 19.

On January 9, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine instructed the Ministry of Education and Science to address the issue of temporarily suspending in-person learning. This decision was made to ensure the safety of students and educators due to adverse weather conditions.

We are keeping the situation under control and will inform about further changes depending on weather conditions.

Thus, educators in Vinnytsia are ready to respond to the situation and provide up-to-date information about the state of the educational process.

Impact of Weather Conditions on the Educational Process

The deterioration of weather conditions that led to the decision to temporarily suspend in-person learning may affect the educational process in other regions of Ukraine. The readiness of educational institutions to adapt to changes and ensure the safety of students is crucial. Distance learning and holidays may become necessary measures to support the educational process in the context of dangerous weather phenomena.
