According to a report from the State Customs Service, Germany topped the list of the largest buyers of Ukrainian vegetables. In the first seven months of 2025, Ukrainian farmers exported 6,200 tons of frozen vegetables abroad, earning 6.1 million dollars.

"The main buyers of Ukrainian frozen vegetables were the Germans, who purchased nearly a third of the total volume (30.5%). Poland ranks second with 24.1%, and Italians came third with 10.6%. Meanwhile, Ukraine itself imported 7,600 tons of vegetables abroad for a total of 10.1 million dollars. Our imports turned out to be highly dependent on suppliers from Poland, who accounted for 73.4% of all purchases, while Belgium and Spain played a less significant role - 14.1% and 3.5%, respectively."

The data from this report indicate that Ukrainian vegetables are highly valued in the international market, particularly in Germany. This may contribute to further growth in agricultural exports and the development of Ukrainian agriculture as a whole.
