Випускник Волині отримав 797 балів на національному іспиті, продемонструвавши відмінні результати в трьох предметах.

Remarkable Achievements by This Year's Graduates

A student from Horokhiv Lyceum No. 1, Illia Obozovskyi, has achieved an outstanding result on the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT), earning 797 out of a possible 800 points. He received the maximum 200 points in three subjects, including mathematics where he achieved a perfect score. He also scored 197 points in the history of Ukraine. Illia plans to enroll in a medical university with the dream of becoming a surgeon, and he intends to remain in Ukraine.

The graduate's mother, Olha Obozovska, shared her emotional reaction to her son's success:

“I cried! When they told me, it was ‘tears of joy.’ I expected this result because my child studies constantly. Sometimes I want to tell him: maybe take a little break now. Truly, my child is golden, the best!”

Mathematics teacher Iryna Tymchuk also reflected on her experience:

“I never doubted Illia. The first time I saw him was in my first math lesson, sitting at the last desk. He had such curious eyes—a child who absorbed everything, who internalized every word I said. He was already trained to work systematically, very responsible.”

Additionally, another graduate, Yurii Hashchuk from Lviv, achieved an equally impressive feat by scoring a perfect 800 on the NMT. Yurii earned 200 points in each of the following subjects:

  • mathematics
  • Ukrainian language
  • chemistry
  • history of Ukraine

The accomplishments of Illia Obozovskyi and Yurii Hashchuk highlight the high level of training among students in Ukrainian educational institutions, as well as their determination to reach new academic and professional heights.

These results demonstrate that Ukraine’s education system equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to achieve top academic outcomes. A key factor in this success is the support from parents and teachers, who play a vital role in shaping accomplished individuals. Amid current challenges such as the war, these achievements also underscore the resilience and commitment of young people to stay in Ukraine and pursue their dreams.
