Restoration of Electricity Supply in Vyshgorod
Vyshgorod has restored electricity supply after more than 100 hours without power. This restoration also affected heat supply in the affected communities of the Obukhiv district. In the last week, electricity supply has been restored for 356.5 thousand families in 46 settlements of the Kyiv region.
Vyshgorod was left without electricity due to a Russian shelling of the NEC Ukrenergo distribution substation. The restoration of electricity supply is an important step towards returning to normal life for the residents of the region. According to information, all critical infrastructure has been powered, including:
- drainage
- water supply
- heat carrier
- active resilience points

Despite the restoration of electricity supply, Ukraine will implement hourly power outage schedules on December 31. According to preliminary estimates, Ukraine needs about two months to return to operation without power outages.
