Preventive measure for the people's deputy
The High Anti-Corruption Court has chosen a preventive measure for MP Yevhen Pyvovarov in a closed session. This meeting was part of a large-scale operation, during which an organized criminal group was exposed, consisting of members of the Ukrainian parliament.
On December 27, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) reported the discovery of a group whose members received illegal benefits for voting in the Verkhovna Rada. As a result, suspicions were raised not only against Pyvovarov but also against other deputies, including:
- Igor Negulevsky
- Olga Savchenko
- Yuri Kiselyov
- Mikhail Labi
It is worth noting that during the operation, employees of the State Guard Office resisted NABU officers. It was also reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court of Ukraine chose a preventive measure for Yuri Kiselyov. These events underscore the seriousness of the corruption situation in the upper echelons of power in the country.
Importance of the anti-corruption operation
This operation is an important step in the fight against corruption in Ukraine, especially among high officials. The exposure of an organized criminal group that includes deputies signals that anti-corruption bodies are actively working to ensure transparency and accountability in public administration.
The further development of this case may have a significant impact on the political situation in the country and the public's trust in government institutions.
