DBR employees uncovered and blocked an attempt to undermine mobilization in Odesa by a commission of doctors of the Primosrsk RTC and SP of Odesa. Doctors issued 'fake' conclusions about passing the military-medical commission without the actual presence of conscripts, allowing them to illegally obtain deferment from service.

Organization of the corruption scheme

According to the investigation, members of the medical commission had prior 'payment' agreements with participants in the corruption scheme, which had already been uncovered by DBR employees earlier. A local resident, an employee of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces General Staff's service activity support center, an employee of the Primosrsk RTC and SP, and others offered to avoid service for 16 thousand US dollars. Indictments have already been sent to court.

Four members of the medical commission have been notified of suspicion of official forgery committed by a group of persons by prior agreement. The issue of their suspension from office is being resolved. According to part 2 of article 28 and part 1 of article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, punishment of up to three years of restriction of liberty is provided.

DBR revealed and stopped an attempt to undermine mobilization in Odesa through issuing 'fake' military-medical conclusions. The criminals planned to illegally obtain deferment from service for a fee. Employees involved in the corruption scheme have already been declared suspects and are awaiting a court decision.
