Support for Veterans in Ukraine
Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, handed over certificates for the purchase of housing to 25 families of military personnel for a total sum of over 60 million hryvnias. This initiative is aimed at supporting veterans and their families, providing them with the opportunity to acquire their own housing.
Kim noted that these certificates allow for choosing housing independently, which is an important step in ensuring comfortable conditions for military personnel. He also emphasized that veterans serve as an example for all, and the state must adequately repay them for their service. Vitaliy Kim added that the need for housing for veterans remains significant, so work on expanding this program is planned to continue.
Financial Support for Veterans
In 2025, Mykolaiv region received 169.2 million hryvnias in state subsidies, which will provide housing for another 67 veteran families. According to Kim, with the support of partners, everything possible will be done so that every veteran and every family of Heroes has their own home.
This initiative is part of a broader program to support veterans in Ukraine, aimed at improving their social standing after service. Providing housing is a critically important aspect of support, as many veterans face difficulties reintegrating into society. The program also emphasizes the state’s commitment to those who have given their strength for the defense of the country, and the continuation of such initiatives can significantly improve the quality of life for many families.
