Ukraine's Biathlon Team for the 2026 Olympics
The Ukrainian Biathlon Federation has selected its four-man team for the men's individual event at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Antholz. The biathletes named to the squad are:
- Dmytro Pidruchnyi
- Vitalii Mandzyn
- Taras Lesiuk
- Anton Dudchenko
The first individual biathlon competition of the 2026 Games is scheduled for Tuesday, February 10, with the race start set for 14:30 Kyiv time. Biathlon is one of the most popular winter sports in Ukraine, and the team's performance is closely followed by a dedicated fan base.
Notably absent from the individual event roster is 21-year-old Bohdan Borkovsky. Team official Nadiia Bielova indicated that Borkovsky's Olympic debut is now planned for the men's sprint event on Friday, February 13. Meanwhile, Dmytro Pidruchnyi brings experience from an 18th-place finish in the individual race at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, while Anton Dudchenko placed 50th in the same event.
