What to know about Ukraine's lineup for the final qualification competitions for the Olympic Games 2026 in Beijing

Anastasia Hozhva, who competed for Ukraine at the World Championship 2025 and Euro 2025, did not make it to the lineup for this tournament. The president of the Ukrainian Figure Skating Federation (UFFK) Danil Amirhanov explained that Hozhva is currently not training. Instead, the main lineup includes the 2025 Ukrainian champion Sofia Hryhorenko, while Taisiya Spesivtseva is the reserve.

Holichenko and Darenksyi will continue to fight for a license for the Olympic Games 2026, especially Artem, who underwent surgery on his leg after the World Championship. Ukraine's application to participate in the tournament in Beijing is still not final. The decision on the lineup of athletes who will compete in the tournament will be made after the international competition in Bergamo, Italy, from September 11 to 14.

After failing to secure a license for the Olympic Games 2026 and the World Championship 2025, the Ukrainian figure skating team determined the lineup of athletes who will compete in the final Olympic qualifying tournament. Ukrainian athletes will participate in various categories, including singles and sports pairs. The members of the team are athletes who have been recognized as Ukrainian national champions and have not stopped at their achievements, preparing for future competitions and increasing their competitiveness.
