The Ukrainian Navy reported that Ukrainian military forces attacked key facilities of the Russian air defense and radar surveillance system in occupied Crimea. The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Navy, Captain 2nd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, noted that drones struck the radar complex and other objects designed to defend military bases on occupied territory.

The main task is the destruction of the air defense system

Captain Pletenchuk emphasized that destroying the air defense system is a priority for successful future operations. He explained that the Russians use air defense means to protect their military facilities, which is extremely important for advancing on enemy positions.

'The Russians always try to restore their complex and expensive air defense system, but this will be a huge challenge for them,' he added.

Reports of attacks on key Russian air defense facilities in occupied Crimea indicate the activity of Ukrainian military forces in this region and efforts to deprive the enemy of defensive capabilities. The destruction of the air defense system is an important step in maintaining security and upholding Ukraine's territorial integrity.
