Experts recommend buying used cars in winter, as the warmer months are not the best period for such a purchase. According to analysts, in summer, the chance of finding an attractive price offer decreases by more than one-third. In contrast, in January, December, and February, the chances of getting a good deal increase by more than 30% compared to the average for the year. A particular interest for buyers is even the New Year holidays, when cars with discounts of 5% off the market value are encountered almost 48% more often.
Thus, winter can be the best time to buy a used car, as during this period the likelihood of finding a good price increases, and sellers apply various pricing incentives to attract buyers.
