Ukrainian drivers will have the opportunity to replace their driver's licenses until 2025, as reported by 'Khvylia'.
According to 'Khvylia', the press service of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explained the procedure for exchanging the document.
Replacement of the license may be necessary in cases of expiration, changes in personal data, damage or loss of the document. Old-style driver's licenses can also be exchanged for new ones that meet international standards.
To obtain a new driver's license, one must make an appointment in advance at the MIA service center, which can be done through a terminal or online.
Procedure for replacing a driver's license
To replace the driver's license, one must have a Ukrainian passport or another document proving identity, a registration certificate, an identification code, and other necessary documents. During martial law, a medical certificate is not required.
After submitting the documents and paying for the service, the driver receives a new driver's license the same day.
