Ukrainians affected by the war will be able to restore their driver's licenses and vehicle registration certificates for free, as reported by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram.
According to her, this applies to cases where documents were lost due to shelling.
Interior Minister Igor Klymenko explained that those affected by the war are exempt from the fees for issuing driver's licenses and registration documents for vehicles, as well as for plastic forms.
Document restoration process
Those affected by the war can obtain free document restoration in the following way:
- obtain a document about victim status from the investigator;
- contact the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center;
- receive new documents without payment.
Interior Minister Igor Klymenko emphasized: 'The next step is the urgent free restoration of ID documents. We are working on solving this issue.'
Let us remind you that drivers have lost two important services in 'Diia'.
With this new initiative, Ukrainians who have become victims of the war will be able to quickly and free of charge restore the necessary documents. This is an important step towards easing the lives of people affected by the conflict in the eastern part of the country.
