Epiphany in Kyiv: where you can safely immerse yourself on January 6
Kyiv residents are urged to take care of their safety during the celebrations of Epiphany on January 6. Authorities recommend refraining from mass gatherings and swimming in open waters without supervision. For those wishing to immerse themselves in the hole, specially prepared locations will be available, equipped in accordance with safety requirements.
This year, Epiphany will be celebrated on January 6 according to the New Julian calendar. Specially prepared locations for immersion will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. All locations have been inspected by divers and will be under constant supervision of rescuers, lifeguards, and medical personnel.
Safety is our priority. We ask you to immerse yourself only in designated and prepared places and follow the recommendations of rescuers. – representatives of the municipal enterprise 'Plesso'
