Rescue operations are underway in Ternopil: 26 people died, including three children

В Тernопільській області тривають рятувальні роботи після трагічних подій: серед загиблих - троє малюків.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that rescuers have been working in Ternopil throughout the night, and search operations are still ongoing. 22 people are missing, and they are still being searched for. Over 230 rescuers from nine regions have been involved.


Due to severe destruction and debris from the buildings, work can only be done manually in some places, complicating search efforts. Currently, it is known that 26 people have died, including three children. The head of state expressed his condolences to the relatives and loved ones of the deceased.


Zelensky thanked everyone who has been working at the site continuously for almost a day. He emphasized the importance of the fact that in such difficult times, Ukrainian citizens can always rely on mutual support and assistance, despite all the hardships and enemy attacks.

It is important to remember that search and rescue operations are ongoing, and local authorities are doing everything possible to help find all missing persons. Solidarity and teamwork in emergencies are extremely important.
