In early September, the enemy launched massive strikes on the cities of Odesa and Kryvyi Rih using drones. According to the Odesa OVA, civilian infrastructure and residential buildings sustained significant damage. As a result of the attacks, fires were recorded, including in high-rise buildings, and information about the injured is still being clarified. Rescue services are working at the scene to mitigate the consequences.
According to local media reports, one of the strikes damaged the Odesa Sports Palace, which is confirmed by photographic evidence.
On the same night, the enemy also struck the city of Kryvyi Rih. Transport and urban infrastructure, as well as private houses, were deliberately targeted. Emergency rescue operations are underway at the site. Moreover, there were also massive shelling incidents in the cities of Kremenchuk and Kyiv. In Kyiv, residents of apartment buildings became victims of the attacks. Houses in the Sviatoshynskyi and Darnytskyi districts were damaged by shelling and debris.
Events in Odesa and Kryvyi Rih indicate a deterioration of the situation in eastern Ukraine and the relentless shelling of the civilian population by Russian troops. The attacks cause significant material damage and pose a threat to the life and health of civilians, necessitating immediate rescue and reconstruction measures.
