On the evening of August 6, Russian terrorists attacked the Sumy community. The consequences were reported by the Sumy City Council, according to 'Glavkom'.
It is reported that around 21:00 the enemy attacked the Sumy community. A hit was recorded in the Kovalivka district of the city.
As a result of the attack, fires broke out in the suburban area. All necessary emergency services are working on site. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties or injuries. Acting Sumy City Mayor Artem Kobzar reported that the enemy used MLRS for the shelling.
Let us remind you that as a result of the shelling in the village of Velyka Pysarevka in the Akhtyrka district of the Sumy region, memorial plaques on the Alley of Glory, established in honor of those who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our state, were damaged.
Russian servicemen struck a drone at a bus with civilians in the area of the village of Ivlozhanske in the Yunakivka community of the Sumy region. Three people died, and five more were injured. All the injured, as well as the other passengers, were evacuated to a safe territory.
By the way, starting today, a differentiated air alarm signal has been launched in the Sumy region. That is, it will now sound not throughout the region, as it did before, but only in those areas that are under direct threat of a Russian attack.
The events taking place in the Sumy region indicate new attacks by Russian terrorists and a significant risk to the civilian population. The government and emergency services must establish an effective response to protect citizens and prevent possible tragedies.
