Elimination of the consequences of massive attacks in Odesa region
In the Odesa region, the elimination of the consequences of massive attacks continues. At night, the enemy launched a ballistic strike on the port of Odesa. According to 'Glavkom', the death toll has risen to eight, and about 30 people were injured. The next attack was on the Southern port, where there were hits to the tanks.
Medical, rescue, and pyrotechnic services are working at the scene of events, where all necessary emergency teams are involved. Despite the danger, port employees continue their work to ensure the continuity of maritime logistics.
Ensuring logistics and communications
Alongside the elimination of the consequences of the attack on the bridge in the Mayaki area, work is ongoing to ensure logistics. Residents of Odesa region have access to all necessary products and services:
- Passage has been ensured for emergency services and other urgent transportation;
- 'Ukrposhta' delivers parcels, pensions, and social payments on time;
- Alternative transport routes and connections with other regions are operating;
- All checkpoints operate without significant queues;
- 'Ukrzaliznytsia' has provided additional carriages for passengers in the directions of Odesa–Chisinau and Odesa–Kyiv.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Oleksiy Kuleba, the humanitarian situation in the region is currently stable.
Information on victims and the elimination of consequences
More than 37 thousand subscribers in Odesa and the Odesa district remain without electricity due to the attack. However, the townspeople have heat and water. As a result of shelling, the city of Mykolaiv has also lost power, but recovery work has already begun there.
According to the Odesa OVA, as a result of the attack on the port infrastructure, 32 people were injured, of whom 7 died.
It is noted that Russian troops carried out attacks on Mykolaiv and the region using drones, which caused significant problems with electricity supply. The State Emergency Service reports a fire that broke out due to the strike, which has been extinguished.
As a result of massive attacks on Odesa and Mykolaiv regions, there are many victims and injuries. People have lost their loved ones, and physically and psychologically suffered due to the loss of property and opportunities for a normal life. In the future, the authorities will facilitate the elimination of consequences and the restoration of the normal functioning of the regions.
