Russian occupiers in the Lyman direction decided to get aggressive after a brief lull and began active assaults with double the force. Their goal is to surround Ukrainian units, but our military is ready to defend themselves. This is evidenced by Olena Rozvadzovska, deputy chief of staff of the 'Mara' battalion of the 66th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Mstislav the Brave.

She noted that the Russians are using airstrikes, artillery, and infantry, including munitions banned by the Geneva conventions, such as cluster munitions and chemical weapons. Rozvadzovska emphasized that the Russian troops have this 'advantage', as they are not averse to violating international norms of warfare. Ukrainian military adheres to civilized standards.

'This is evident from the type of assaults they conduct. However, in any case, I see no reason to glorify the enemy's army. Their only advantage today is the use of munitions banned by the Geneva conventions, which we cannot do. The use of cluster munitions and increased use of chemical weapons'

It was also noted that Russian troops continue to reinforce their positions in this direction, indicating their aggressive intentions to encircle and capture Ukrainian units. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders are ready to give a worthy rebuff to protect their territory and maintain control at the front.
