Situation on the Front
The enemy delivered 33 air strikes in a day, leading to 139 combat clashes and hundreds of losses on the front. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has intensified operations, carrying out numerous air strikes and shelling, resulting in significant losses among the occupiers, particularly in the Pokrovsk direction.
During the combat actions, 33 air strikes were recorded, during which 81 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In addition, the enemy used 4439 kamikaze drones and carried out 2830 shellings of Ukrainian military positions. As of January 10 at 22:00, the number of combat clashes reached 139.
Enemy Losses
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy suffered significant losses: 97 occupiers were destroyed, of which 58 are irretrievable. Also, the following were destroyed:
- 12 units of automotive equipment
- 3 ATVs
- 1 ground robotic complex
- 32 unmanned aerial vehicles
- 4 antennas
- 1 UAV control point
- 2 artillery systems
- 1 vehicle
- 19 shelters for enemy personnel
Combat actions also took place in other directions. In particular, in the Northern Slobozhansky direction, 2 clashes, 2 air strikes, and 91 shellings were recorded. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy made 6 attacks, and in the Kupiansk direction, there were 8 attempts to advance. The Lyman direction saw 6 assault actions, in the Slovyansk direction, 3 attacks were recorded, and in the Kostiantynivka direction, there were 11 combat clashes. In the Huliaipole direction, 19 clashes occurred, and in the Oleksandrivka direction – 6 attacks.
These events are happening on the 1417th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine, which has been ongoing since February 24, 2022. In the conditions of continuous combat actions, the Ukrainian forces demonstrate resilience and readiness to defend their positions.
In the current situation, the intensification of combat actions indicates the enemy's desire to further pressure Ukrainian forces. Such intense air strikes and shellings indicate the enemy's intentions to maximize the destruction of Ukrainian positions, however, significant losses among the occupiers, recorded in the Pokrovsk direction, indicate the effectiveness of the defensive actions of the Ukrainian forces.
