Russian occupation forces continue to increase pressure on the Ukrainian border, conducting daily shelling of the Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions, reported State Border Guard Service spokesman Andriy Demchenko.

'We even see that the trend is towards an increase in the number of shellings... the enemy is using artillery and drones for strikes on our territory,' - said the representative of the SBSU.

In Chernihiv region, the largest increase in activity has been recorded, while shelling in Sumy and Kharkiv regions remains at a high level.

The enemy has intensified attempts to attack Ukrainian positions in the Kupiansk direction, where border guard units are stationed.

Increased activity of hostilities in the Lyman and Pokrovsk directions

In the areas of responsibility of the SBSU, the enemy predominantly uses infantry, avoiding the use of armored vehicles due to their vulnerability to Ukrainian drones.

'Our drones are actively working behind the front line to detect and destroy Russian artillery, transport, and equipment before large-scale attacks,' - noted Demchenko.

Ukrainian border guards report that shelling and enemy activity at the border have increased, especially in the northeast of the country. Defense forces continue to protect Ukrainian territory and respond to provocations.
