The recent events disrupted the occupiers' plans regarding the shelling of Zaporizhzhia. A few days ago, the Ukrainian Air Forces destroyed a carrier aircraft of guided bombs that was trying to use them against the city. The main fighter of the Zaporizhzhia Operational Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported this at a briefing. Now, the enemy cannot approach the city so easily to launch strikes, which significantly facilitates the defense of Zaporizhzhia.
According to him, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated an enemy aircraft that was approaching launch positions directly towards the regional center.
The new situation not only halted the possibility of shelling but also requires the enemy to rethink their strategy and tactics of warfare. Each attack is now checked with special attention to ensure maximum protection for the peaceful residents of the city.
