Fire in Odesa due to enemy attacks
On the night of December 28, a fire broke out in a private house in Odesa as a result of an enemy drone attack. The fire was extinguished thanks to the coordinated actions of the rescuers, who deployed 8 units of special equipment and 30 firefighters. The fire covered an area of 150 square meters, but there were no deaths or injuries as a result of the incident.
As a result of the attack, 4 residents of the house were evacuated. In addition, psychologists from the State Emergency Service provided support to 17 people, including 4 children. This demonstrates the responsiveness and professionalism of the services that worked at the scene.
Enemy shelling and its consequences
It is worth noting that on December 27, enemy shelling also occurred in Odesa, resulting in damage to social infrastructure facilities. To address the aftermath of these shellings, necessary construction materials were delivered to the impact sites to cover broken windows. Relevant services continue to inspect the area and document the incurred damages.
These events underscore the constant threat that enemy attacks pose to the civilian population in Ukraine. The high readiness of the rescue services and the psychological support for the victims are critical aspects of ensuring safety and stability in the region. The continuation of such shellings indicates a tense military situation that requires close attention from state authorities and the international community.
