The Eighth German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin
Ukrainian Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture Oleksii Sobolev participated in the 8th German-Ukrainian Economic Forum in Berlin, Germany. Participants of the event included representatives from Ukrainian and German businesses, investors, and government officials.
During the forum, Oleksii Sobolev took part in a number of activities, including meetings with German businesses, investors, and government officials. He attended a business breakfast where issues of investment, industrial development, and the role of German business in Ukraine were discussed.
Also, during the forum, meetings were held with the leadership of the German industry and discussions on collaboration opportunities with various companies, including Siemens Energy and the German Development Bank. Oleksii Sobolev emphasized the importance of compliance with EU legislation and participation in European production chains for the development of the Ukrainian economy.

During the forum, a Declaration was also signed with the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) regarding support for labor market reform through the JobConnect program and a Memorandum with MAN Truck & Bus SE on the development of industry and investment in Ukraine.
All these activities are aimed at supporting economic and investment ties between Ukraine and Germany, as well as stimulating the development of the Ukrainian economy with the participation of German partners.
