Ukraine's team finished their performance at the World Games in Chengdu in third place in the medal standings, winning 44 awards (16 gold, 14 silver, 14 bronze). This was reported by 'Glavkom' with reference to the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Ukraine entered the top 10 of the overall medal standings of the European Youth Olympic Festival, taking 10th place. The Ukrainian team's haul includes: 5 gold, 8 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
Most successful performance
This is the second most successful performance of Ukraine in the entire history of participation in the Festivals since 1993! The 'blue-yellow' team won more medals only in 2019 - when they had 25 awards.
The most successful sport was judo - our athletes won six medals, including bronze in the mixed team tournament on the final day of the competition.
In addition to judo, awards for Ukraine were won by representatives of sports such as swimming (2 gold, 2 silver, and bronze), athletics (gold, silver, and 2 bronzes), taekwondo (2 silver and bronze), shooting (silver and bronze), gymnastics (silver and bronze), and table tennis (bronze).
The World Summer Universiade has concluded in Germany.
On the final day of the competition, the Ukrainian team won another award - a bronze. It was earned by Mykola Rushchak from Sumy in the 20-kilometer race walk.
Ukraine took 14th place in the overall medal standings. Our athletes won a total of 12 medals: 4 gold, 3 silver, and 5 bronze.
The Ukrainian team successfully completed their performance at the World Games and the European Youth Olympic Festival, occupying important positions in the medal rankings. Judo was the most successful sport for the team, and the total number of awards at the festivals turned out to be one of the highest in the entire history of Ukraine's participation in such events.
