Borshchiv Community Adopts Mriya Ecosystem for Education

The Borshchiv community in the Ternopil region has fully transitioned to the state-owned Mriya ecosystem, a move spearheaded by local math and computer science teacher Lesia Zahday. All 20 schools in the community now operate on this new platform, designed to simplify administrative tasks within educational institutions. This shift is part of a broader push to modernize school management across Ukraine.

Previously, each school used its own separate platform, leading to a host of inefficiencies. As Lesia Zahday explained:

“We simply wanted to find a system that would genuinely make daily work easier for schools.” - Lesia Zahday

Among the main challenges schools faced were:

  • the electronic gradebook freezing,
  • the need to duplicate data,
  • and spending free time on system setup.

The move to the new ecosystem aims to streamline workflows across Borshchiv’s schools, which could in turn have a positive impact on the quality of education.

Benefits of Implementing a Unified Platform

This transition to the Mriya ecosystem represents a major step forward in modernizing the region’s educational processes. Rolling out a single platform for all schools can not only reduce the administrative burden on teachers and school administrators but also enable more efficient information sharing between institutions. This initiative could serve as a model for other communities looking to improve education quality and management in their schools.
