Body cameras for servicemen of territorial recruitment centers
Since September 1, servicemen of territorial recruitment and social support centers have been using body cameras while notifying citizens. This was reported by the Ground Forces, emphasizing that the decision is aimed at increasing the transparency and legality of mobilization measures.
In the first two weeks of implementing this new practice, the cameras have already recorded a number of violations. Video materials have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies, which are investigating them.
The department emphasizes that body cameras protect both parties in the process — both servicemen and civilians, as they allow for an objective record of the notification process.
'From now on, the mobilization process is under full video surveillance, and all violators will definitely be held accountable,' the Ground Forces stated. They also reminded that all actions are carried out exclusively within the framework of the current legislation of Ukraine and urged citizens to adhere to the rules and assist in the proper conduct of mobilization measures.
